Miller & Lux Restaurant

Enjoyed Valentine’s Day dinner here and it did not disappoint. Living nearby we opted to walk, so I can’t say much from personal experience about parking but depending on the day and time there is street parking available nearby. The bar area where we checked in for our reservations had a moody atmosphere with dim lighting and the second floor where we sat for dining had slightly brighter lighting. The booth seating was comfortable and I enjoyed the overall sophisticated yet minimalist decor choices. Our waiter was very attentive and kind throughout our dining experience. Every member of the staff we passed walking out even thanked us for dining with them. The food was delicious and beautifully plated. My favorites were the black truffle Parmesan fries, pear-fection cocktail, and mouthwatering chocolate crème strawberry. Be prepared to pay the price for such a high quality dining experience. I highly recommend trying at least once!

Holiday company party. We rented the private room on the second floor that fit around 20. Seafood platter was great. Lobster tail and oysters with chives were good. Caesar salad made to order was fantastic. Filet mignon was tasty. Dover sole was ok but impressive presentation cooked at table. Desserts are must but the pear was the best. Chocolate mousse and cake was also good.

Went to celebrate a birthday over the weekend and it was not the best experience. We had reservations at 5 and parking was scarce with valet not becoming available until close to 5:15. The ambience was nice and walking in everybody was extremely friendly which was great and set the mood. However there was nothing special for our birthday celebration not even a complimentary dessert or anything like most restaurants do which made the experience a little less special. In addition the server took out food to package to go and never came back with it, we tried to call 3 minutes after leaving the restaurant and nobody answered after multiple calls I left a message with contact information but never got a call back. Overall the food was 4/5 and pricing was great/comparable with other similar restaurants in the area however will definitely reconsider coming here for another celebration as they do nothing to add to the experience of choosing to celebrate at their restaurant.

LOVED everything here. Worth the price. The service is amazing, the food is fantastic, drinks are great and the desserts are to DIE for. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend that much is the oysters, but that’s probably cause I don’t loved the textures, but they were really fresh. The steaks are great, obviously, but so are the sides, fries, sauces and the Cesar Salad. We tried all the desserts available and loved them all which is weird. Everything about this experience is amazingly curated. The Sommelier was great and the wine list was extensive and with all different price range. Special note to Jose who was amazing with us and everyone else.

The Surf & Turf Crudo, meanwhile, juxtaposed the sea and the land in a harmonious blend, a testament to the chef's ingenious craftsmanship. As if to challenge their own high standard, the second course arrived, featuring a majestic 46 oz tomahawk ribeye of Prime Dry-Aged Black Angus. The meat was a masterclass in aging and grilling, a succulent testament to prime beef's splendor. Yet, it was the sides that elevated this already impeccable dining experience to new heights. The black truffle parmesan fries, hand-cut and lavishly sprinkled with umami-rich truffles, paired exquisitely with the Dijon Aioli. The yukon gold potatoes purée whispered luxury, enriched with grass-fed butter and a hint of sea salt. The miso-glazed royal trumpet mushrooms, with their Roasted Mushroom Purée, Unagi Sauce, and a sprinkle of Sesame Seed, were a journey into umami heaven. Not to be outdone, the charred brassicas, crowned with Broccoli Pesto and Parmigiano-Reggiano, offered a splendid marriage of char and zest. The denouement was a dessert that was not just a treat for the taste buds, but a visual spectacle. The white chocolate apricot, realistic in appearance, revealed a luscious cream and apricot filling upon being sliced, ending the meal on a high note of innovation and indulgence. In essence, Miller & Lux isn't just a dining experience; it's a voyage into the depths of culinary artistry. Highly recommended for those seeking an evening where every bite is a revelation.
